On-Site Finals Overview
The objective of the On-Site Finals is to demonstrate a team's ability to implement algorithms for the multimodal autonomous delivery system in a live run, on site, within a fixed time limit.
The On-Site Finals scenario expands on the Virtual Stage with more deliveries, an urgent delivery, penalty for hitting the curb, and a time limit.

Scoring and Ranking
This section defines how team performance is scored and how rankings are determined in the On-Site Finals.
Scoring Formula
Each completed delivery scores:
delivery score = 1000 - elapsed time (s) + bonus
total score = sum of all delivery scores
Elapsed time is measured in seconds from the mission start until the package is successfully delivered, so earlier deliveries score higher.
Bonus is paid only on the 10 window deliveries. Higher windows pay more. One window pays extra if delivered within the first 120 seconds.
Window Delivery Bonus
| Window | Building | Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Window 1 | Building 1 | 400 |
| Window 2 | Building 1 | 400 |
| Window 3 | Building 1 | 400 |
| Window 4 | Building 2 | 200 |
| Window 5 | Building 3 | 300 |
| Window 6 | Building 3 | 400 |
| Window 7 | Building 4 | 100 |
| Window 8 | Building 4 | 100 |
| Window 9 | Building 6 | 200 |
| Window 10 | Building 7 | 300 |
Urgent Delivery
- Window 10 is urgent delivery and it pays an additional 200 bonus if delivered within the first 2 minutes of the run.
Time Limit
- The run ends after 5 minutes, or when all 14 deliveries are complete.
Penalties
- The QCar2 is expected to remain on the road. Each time it hits a curb, a penalty of 30 points is recorded.
- Continuous contact during a single excursion counts as one hit.
-
The penalty is applied at the end of the run:
final score = total score - (number of hits x penalty per hit)
Ranking
Teams are ranked according to their final score, where a higher score corresponds to a higher rank.
